Systems Integration
Conceive, Design, Build, Test, Operate, Maintain/update
Quest Knight Enterprises specializes in providing Unmanned Airspace Integration services to the U.S. Navy and Department of Defense (DoD). A critical component of supporting both CONUS and deployed UAS missions involves integrating Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) into the National Airspace System and tactical environments. For DoD UAS operations, access to the NAS is necessary to train pilots and operators, participate in joint exercises, and develop and test new systems and UAS elements. However, many DoD UAS entities lack direct access to restricted areas, warning areas, and other training zones. To address this, it's crucial to develop and implement standardized procedures, integrate new technology developments, and secure regulatory updates to ensure operational freedom. Key focus areas for UAS airspace integration include visual line-of-sight operations, terminal area operations, lateral/vertical transit operations, and both operating and dynamic operating areas in CONUS and oceanic airspace deployments.
Services include:
Preparation and Development of UAS CONOPS and Airspace Integration (AI) Plan/Strategy
Collation of Certificate of Authorization (COA) Data Points for Induction into the FAA COA Online Portal
Coordination with FAA to Enable Certificate of Authorization or Waiver (COA) Process Approval
